(Once every 2 weeks, the day stays the same but it is only repeated every 2 weeks.)
What must I pack for my child?
(Swimming costume, towel, tracksuit/ comfortable clothing)
Why don’t I see my child’s name on the roster?
(If your child has swam before, they are in the swimming programme according to what group and day they have been allocated - Guppies or goldfish. If they are new to the school - rest assured they will be added in the following roster as their indemnity is being processed. If your original indemnity form was misplaced or not processed please request for a new one in the communication book)
Can I send my child with their costume, on their scheduled day, if it is raining?
(Yes we have an indoor, heated pool)
Can my child swim more than once in two weeks?
(No, please note that the entire school is in the swimming and water safety programme. We do cater for all learners and allow them an adequate amount of time in the pool to foster their development in the skill.)
What will my child be learning?
(At randburg clinic school, safety is our utmost priority. Recognising the need for water safety - we have strived to develop this skill in our learners. While we do hope that every child will one day learn to swim, we are meeting the child where they are at in trying to ensure their water safety.)
School Transport
Is the school transport service available for all learners?
Unfortunately, No. We are only able to provide busses according to the limited funding that we have.
What other options do I have if there is no space for my child on the school transport?
You will be put onto the waiting list and contacted if/when a space is available. However, the waiting list is quite long and you may have to wait for a long time for space. There are private transporters that provide services as well.
